Virginia Kletz

Bloomington - Virginia B. Kletz, 95, of Bloomington, passed away at 2:55 AM on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at LeRoy Manor Care Center in LeRoy.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM on Monday, December 4, 2017 at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.

Virginia was born in McLean County on April 30, 1922, a daughter to George and Rachel Hobson. She married Robert M. Kletz on June 9, 1945 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1989.

Surviving are two sons, Robert G. and Edward, both of Bloomington; a daughter, Linda Wilcox, of LeRoy, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, John Hobson of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Gary Wilcox Jr.; son-in-law, Gary Wilcox; three brothers; and three sisters.

Virginia worked for the State of Illinois and retired in 1976. She attended West Olive Faith United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for the Salvation Army where she helped several people and enjoyed serving others.
