Wilhelmina Martino

Congerville - Wilhelmina "Mina" Martino, 98, of Congerville. passed away at 7:09 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomington with Pastor Terry Strom officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Interment will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington. Memorials may be made to Congerville Fire and Rescue or Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mina was born on August 4, 1918 in Congerville, Illinois, a daughter to Friedrich and Anna Stroh Siebert. She married Peter A. Martino on May 31, 1941 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1985.

Surviving is her daughter in-law, Diane Martino of Congerville; granddaughter, Staci (Rodney) Price of Clinton; great grandson, Austin Wickenhauser of Wapella and step great grandson, Nick (Victoria) Price of Clinton.

In addition to her husband, Peter, she was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Vaughn and 10 siblings.

Mina was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
