Bloomington - Zachary R. ‘Zac' Hoeft, 28, of Bloomington, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Columbus Ohio.

His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomington with Pastor Billy Newell officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 30, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree or shrub wherever you are to honor Zac's love of the great outdoors.

Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Bluegrass Ambassadors, or Home Sweet Home Ministries.

Zac was born on September 8, 1991 in Normal, Illinois, a son to R. Scott and Shawn C. Cronin Hoeft. He is a 2010 graduate of Normal Community West High School and member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomington. Zac was a passionate musician, kind soul, and a friend to everyone he met. He enjoyed working on the family farm, with several food venders, and at various music festivals nationwide.

Surviving are his parents, Scott and Shawn of Bloomington; siblings, Rachel (David) Fulton of Leroy, Jacob Hoeft of Bloomington and Abigail Hoeft of Bloomington; niece, Caroline Fulton, of Leroy; paternal grandmother, JoAnne (Dennis) Pritchard of Normal, maternal grandmother, Carole Cronin of Sandwich, Il, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roger L. Hoeft and J.M. "Mick" Cronin.
